<p>PURPOSE:To enable operating an air-conditioner during battery charging without lowering its charging capacity by providing a means of detecting a charging current to a secondary battery and a control means of operating the air- conditioner as required when the charging current drops below a specified value. CONSTITUTION:A charging current into a secondary battery 92 is detected by a current sensor or a current detecting means 103. The current signal is then inputted to a charge control circuit or charge control means 68 and air- conditioner ECU 68 or control means 68. At the initial stage of charging, the charge control circuit controls the charging current of a charging circuit 93 to the maximum charge current. When a battery voltage increases to the rated voltage, the control circuit performs a constant-voltage charging by suppressing the charging current so that a battery voltage does not exceed the rated voltage. The air-conditioner ECU 68 actuates an air-conditioner 20 as required when a charging current detected by a current sensor drops below the specified value.</p> |
