Refrigerating plant with oil cooling

A refrigerating unit includes a screw-type compressor, a condenser, an evaporator, plus throttles, valves and pipes. A conventional intermediate pressure tank is used for oil separation and oil cooling, or just for oil cooling. This is connected with the compressor, and also via a throttle with the condenser and another with the evaporator. If the tank is used for oil cooling, it is constructed as a surface heat exchanger with a connection for an oil separator.
