A rotation edge turner of a loom consists of a leno disc (7) which is mounted on a support arm and is equipped with an outer serration. The disc (7) has two curved slits (7b, 7c) located symmetrically round the middle axis (7a) of the disc (7). A doup end (11, 12) can be guided through each slit (7b, 7c). The disc (7) is in a rotating drive connection with a drive wheel (5) via a toothed belt. The drive wheel (5) is connected to a controlled electromechanical adjusting drive (20).
