PURPOSE:To improve the sharpness of the titled material, and to reduce the change of the sensitivity due to the change of humidity at the time of exposing by mounting at least one layer of photosensitive emulsion layers contg. silver halide photographic emulsion on a substrate body, and by incorporating a specified compd. in said photosensitive emulsion layer. CONSTITUTION:The titled material contains at least one kind of the compds. shown by formulas I and II in at least one layer of the photosensitive emulsion layers which contains the silver halide photographic emulsion and is mounted on the substrate body, and said silver halide photographic emulsion is composed of silver chlorobromide or silver chloride which does not substantially contain silver iodide and is prepared by adding a photographic spectral sensitizing dye to said emulsion, after adding at least 85wt.% of the amount of a soluble silver salt solution necessary for forming silver halide particles and before a desalting step of said particles. In formulas I and II, Z<1> and Z<2> are each a nonmetal atomic group necessary for forming a heterocyclic ring, L is methine group, (n) is 0-2, R<1>, R<4>, R<5> and R<8> are each hydrogen atom of hydroxy group, etc., R<2>, R<3>, R<6> and R<7> are each hydrogen atom or sulfonic acid group, etc. Thus, the sharpness of the titled material is improved, and the change of the sensitivity due to the change of humidity at the time of exposing is reduced. |
