The method is for transmitting additional characters input through keys of a facsimile. The method comprises the steps of: (A)inputting a message through a keyboard of a facsimile; (B)storing the message input in the step (A); (C)checking that the manuscript data transmission is terminated; and(D)sending message stored in the step(B) when the manuscript data transmission is terminated.
