发明名称 HYDRATING METHOD OF NITRILE
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a catalyst having high activity for the reaction of nitriles with water and synthesize objective amides more selectively by controlling a mixture soln. of copper salt and salt of noble element which can form an alloy with copper to a specified pH then subjecting the soln. to heat treatment in the pesence of alcohols. CONSTITUTION:A copper alloy catalyst is produced by controlling a mixture soln. of copper salt and salt of noble element which can form an alloy with copper to pH>=6 and then subjecting the soln. to heat treatment in the presence of alcohols. The hydrating reaction with using this copper alloy catalyst is performed in a liquid phase. Hydration of nitriles proceeds at a room temp. or even at a temp. under the room temp., however, the reaction rate can be increased by raising the reaction temp. A preferable temp. range is form 50 to 150 deg.C and the reaction time is not limited. The amt. of water used for the hydration reaction is not limited, but is usually preferably twice to several hundreds times moles to one mole of nitriles.
