<p>PURPOSE: To provide a device and method for automatically connecting the ends of yarn to a drum. CONSTITUTION: The drum 9 of a warp thread warping plant in the method and device for winding warp strips 19 is provided with a manipulator 16 for forming at least two adjacently arranged sections. When winding sequence with respect to at least one section is completed, the yarns of the warp strips 19 are separated and not only the strip-start point oriented toward the yarn feed arrangements 10 and 11 but also the strip-end oriented toward the drum 9 are joined by at least one flat bodies 18 and 18a, transverse to the run part of the yarns, and are thus fixed.</p> |
