PURPOSE: To facilitate the assembly of a balustrade by assembling balustrade component parts in a balustrade assembly on an assembly jig after providing a frame, balustrade component parts, and an adjustment and assembly jig and arranging the balustrade component parts on the assembly jig, and assembling the balustrade assembly into the frame. CONSTITUTION: At the time of assembly of a balustrade, a projected long panel holder 40 is installed on a panel holder mount 88 of an assembly jig, and a clamping wedge positioned at each positioning member 89 is installed on the panel holder 40 for positioning. Next, a support member 93 is clamped to the panel holder 40 by clamping means 85. Then after the positioning member 89 is released and removed and the panel holder 40 is fixed to the assembly jig, an inner panel 34 is put inside a groove of the panel holder 40. Using an arm 90 and a sucking cup 91 installed on a column 86, an inside panel 34 is fixed to the inside of the panel holder while the inside panel 34 is supported. The balustrade 16 thus assembled as a rigid assembly is transported and assembled after positionally adjusted relative to a truss. |
