The tool includes the forked frame (1), the arms (1a) of which are made with fingers (1b) at their ends to fit side lugs (13b) in the support (13) for the fuse block (12). The carriage (7) moves parallel to the arms and is stopped by a fixed butt (8b). A threaded positioning rod (3,4) displaces the carriage using an axial spring (5) as intermediary. The two jaws (10) are hinged (9) on the carriage and are operated by the free end (3a) of the rod pushing on two overlapping heads (10b,10c) above the hinge. They are pulled together by a spring (11) against a butt system (7c) at the hinge. The free ends of the jaws have grips (10a) to engage hollows (12b) in the block.
