PURPOSE:To provide an image forming device constituted so that the difference of temperature between a paper passing part and a paper non-passing part in a fixing device is suppressed and the fixing device is not damaged. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a halogen lamp 12 being a heating element generating heat when power is supplied and the fixing device A being the fixing means imparting the heat energy of the lamp 12 to a transfer paper being a recording material. Besides, temperature detection elements 15 and 16 as a temperature detection means are respectively arranged at the transfer paper passing part and the paper non-passing part in the fixing device A. Then, an image forming action is controlled by comparing the temperatures detected by two elements 15 and 16. |
