PURPOSE: To obtain an expressive power or intuitive convenience related with a pen stroke and a gesture, and to unnecessitate complicated character recognizing software. CONSTITUTION: A lower case 'a' is inputted by tapping a stylus on a key 'a' of a graphic keyboard. A capital letter 'A' is inputted by an upward stroke started on the key 'a'. A user can express other changers for basic characters such as 'control', 'substitution' and 'command' by inputting strokes in other directions.
