The container has a base (1) with lateral side walls (2, 4-5) arranged perpendicular to the base. Certain sidewalls have an exterior panel (4) with a further panel (5) attached to them by a fold line arranged parallel to the base. This panel is folded towards the base and attached to it using adhesive on an attached section (6) or by engaging tabs into cut outs formed in the base. Tabs (7) are also arranged in a position corresponding to cut outs (8) to receive them and lock corner pieces (3) in a position between the panels of the double sidewall.
