The mechanism includes a retractable steel post embedded in the ground. The post is operated by an electromechanical actuator driven by a 24 volt motor with manual locking and unlocking. At the base of the post is an electrical box with a transformer allowing connection to a 220 volt electrical supply. The electrical box has an electronic board allowing radio controlled operation of the post. There are electronic boards in the box enabling operation by magnetic contact, by a coded key, by push button, or by a timer. An electrical beacon allows observation of the post operation.
