PURPOSE:To increase the traveling speed of a head without using a large-output motor by installing two servo motors at one belt pulley of a pair of belts and then laying out a linear encoder and a servo motor so that they can be controlled by a full-closed loop. CONSTITUTION:Belts 30A and 30B are driven between a pair of belt drive pulleys 32A/33A and 32B/33B by main shaft drive servo motors 31A-31D fixed to shaft base parts 27A and 27B. Further, linear encoders 35A and 35B are mounted to the side of the shaft base parts 27A and 27B. The linear encoders 35A and 35B detect the traveling distance and speed in the direction of the shaft of a sub-shaft unit 22 and repeatedly feed back signals to the shaft servo driver by the full-closed loop of the two drive circuits at the shaft, thus operating a head 20 with a high acceleration without using a large-output motor. |
