摘要

PURPOSE: To provide a sensitive silver halide photographic material in which fogging of a picture is reduced and residual stain is improved, particularly one containing platelike silver halide particles. CONSTITUTION: In a silver halide photographic material having at least one silver halide sensitive emulsion layer on at least one surface of a support body, the silver halide emulsion layer contains palletize silver halide particles having >=0.3μm particle thickness and accounting of at lest 50% of the total projected area, and a copper phthalocyanine blue pigment having 640-700nm maximum absorption wavelength is present on at least one hydrophilic layer of the photographic material.
