Simple, economic heat treatment for fibrous material strip

A process entails the operation of heat treatment appts. for fibrous material strip, esp. the heating of a revolving ring-shaped body (7) with a support element (9) pressing against its inner surface (12). The ring is heated from inside by steam. A process press element comprises a mounting axle with a fixed mounting element (8), for the ring-shaped body (coating, band or hose), the support element (9) hydraulically activated against the mounting element to press against the ring (7) inner surface (12). Here there is a device for steam injection to the ring and means for the removal of its remaining components after heat extraction.
