Crystal resonance receiver for free space electrical waves

A device receives electromechanically generated free space electrical waves by crystal-resonance in which resonance oscillations of the crystal dipole are induced in the electrical or pyroelectric crystals (1) by the free electrical waves. On the opposite-facing side-faces of the crystal, the induced electrical a.c. voltages are taken off via metallic coatings (2). The latter are applied in such a way that only a small part of the crystal surface is coated, allowing the free electric waves to enter into the crystal (1).
