PURPOSE:To provide a medical device with good lubricity, which generates good lubricity immediately after it touches aqueous solution such as blood, etc., and its manufacturing method. CONSTITUTION:This is a medical device, of which surface highpolymer material is coated by maleic anhydride based highpolymer and the coating layer of maleic anhydride is reacted with hydrophile maintaining function imparting substance to make the medical device, with a superior surface lubricity. Methylvinylether-maleic anhydride copolymer is preferable as a maleic anhydride based highpolymer, and ammonia, methylamine, ethylamine, etc., are preferable as a hydrophile maintaining function imparting substance. |
