PURPOSE:To sterilize FUTONs (Japanese mattresses), mats, etc. without necessitating a big apparatus, by connecting to a crushable airtight container a disinfectant gas generating apparatus via a gas supply line and a discharger filled with disinfectant gas processing agents via a gas discharge line. CONSTITUTION:The sterilizer 1 is composed of a crushable air-tight container 4, a disinfectant gas generating apparatus 2 and a discharger 7, where the container 4 is made of gas impermeable plastic with a gas drainage valve 3 equipped at the top thereof. The disinfectant gas generating apparatus 2 generates disinfectant gas, e.g. ozone, etc., and the discharger 7 is filled with disinfectant gas processing agents 8 consisting of activated carbon and silica gel, in case when ozone is used as the disinfectant gas. The container 4 and the disinfectant gas generating apparatus 2 are connected via the gas supply line 10 with a valve 9 equipped on the way and the container 4 and the discharger 7 are connected via the gas discharge line 11 with a valve 6 equipped on the way. Thereupon, FUTONs, mats, etc. can be sterilized without necessitating a big apparatus. |
