The invention relates to a drying tunnel in particular for poultry manure, which comprises a housing in which there are a number of conveyor belts positioned one above the other, wherein the conveyor belts are positioned in two or more compartments which are separate from one another and lie one above the other, and wherein the drying air passes through the various compartments in succession. The drying air is obtained by preheating outside air with shed air and further heating this air by means of a heater component.
