PURPOSE:To improve oxidation resistance and shaking resistance of a carbon- containing unburned fire brick. CONSTITUTION:A suspension is prepared by dispersing only a powdered or scaly easy-to-oxidize metal or an oxide fine powder together with the easy-to- oxidize metal in a volatile organic solvent. The suspension is added to a fire resisting aggregate and a carbonaceous material, which are kneaded. For the dispersion component of the suspension, it is advisable that at least either of a magnesia fine powder or a metal magnesium is used in addition to a metal aluminum. |
