The present invention relates to a method of and means for joining support cores of cardboard or the like. The invention is characterized in that a sleeve length intended to be cut into a number of cores is cut so that only a short length, possibly only a core remnant is left. Adhesive (4) is then applied on the end surface located perpendicular to the axis of the core, after which the leading end surface of a new sleeve length running perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis and substantially aligned with the first end surface, is pressed against the rear end (3) and splicing is achieved. |
