PURPOSE:To provide information useful when a user utilizes an article by inputting the code of the article to a POS terminal by an operator, calling the container component information of the article from a storage means, calculating total amount values for respective components and comparing them with reference values. CONSTITUTION:An article information storage part 112 stores the analized contained component information and the contained component information for the respective articles inputted beforehand. In this case, at the point of time when a customer brings the article to a register counter, the articles code is inputted to an input part 113, corresponding article information is retrieved from the storage part 112 by a contained component information retrieval part 114 and the contained component information is read from an article information data base. Based on the information, the total amount values of the respective components in all the articles are calculated in a contained component information calculation part 115 and whether or not the values exceed the values occupying the appropriate intake for one day of the respective components is compared in a contained component information comparison part 116. By referring to it, the customer receives effective advice for the health of a family and the preservation of an environment, etc. |
