PURPOSE:To improve the durable period of a bearing and lengthen the service life of an epicyclic reduction gear by preventing abrasion powder, generated from the gears of epicyclic reduction mechanism, from entering into a bearing for supporting a rotary shaft in a housing. CONSTITUTION:The outer peripheral edge part of a lip seal 47 provided on the lower side of a carrier 46 forming epicyclic reduction mechanism 45 is extended toward the outer ring 24A of a bearing 24, disposed on the lower side of the carrier 46, so as to cover a space between the outer ring 24A and inner ring 24B of the bearing 24. A chamber on the upper side of the lip seal 47 formed inside a housing 42 is communicated with the outside of the housing 42 by an oil passage 44 and an oil drain 43C. At the operating time of the epicyclic reduction gear 45 or at the time of changing lubricating oil, abrasion powder is prevented from entering between the outer ring 24A and inner ring 24B of the bearing 24. |
