<p>The process for operation of control devices is esp. for those on electrically powered rolling-stock or locomotive-drawn railway trains. All mechanical-electrical control orders and data are visually prepared in the vehicle, and their content is transmitted by lighting circuit cables (7, 16). Series coupling of the lighting circuit cables between vehicles is effected electrically, via galvanic coupling points with series-connected optical-electrical transformers (10, 11). A multiplex system may be used for data transmission.</p> |
