The extension leaf (3) has upward flapping elongated parts (13) each of which pivot on an axle (12) extending in the pull-out direction (z). A control gear (G) is positioned on the underside of the extension panel (3). The control gear has a pivot linked expansion bar (15) each linked by control bars (18) to a lengthwise part (13). The expansion bar is operated by a control pin (20). The table frame contains a carrier cooperating with the control pin which moves along a circle arc of the pivot mounted expansion bar.
