Friction lining for disc brake

The friction lining (6) is for a disc brake eg. on a vehicle. It has at least one air duct (7,8) connectable to a source of compressed air (9) and formed by a hollow inside the friction lining. The air-duct extends through the hole thickness of the friction lining, from the backplate (4,5) to the friction surface (10). The backplate has a hole through (11) opening into the air duct for connecting a compressed air pipe (12,13).
