PURPOSE:To reduce the installation area by constituting a cation tower, a decarbonation tower, an anion tower each as prescribed, connecting them in order to form continuous ion exchange equipment of cation tower-decarbonation tower-anion tower, and performing ion exchange treatment and regeneration treatment in one tower. CONSTITUTION:Raw water in a raw water tank 1 is passed through a cation tower 2, a decarbonation tower 3 and an anion tower 4 in this order, and subjected to cation exchange treatment, decarbonation treatment and anion exchange treatment to produce pure water. The cation tower 2 is constituted of a tower body 201 divided and formed into an adsorption zone 202, a washing zone 103, and a regeneration zone 204 from below, and the anion exchange resin is drawn out from the bottom part of the anion exchange tower to send it to the regeneration zone 204 for generation. The anion tower 4 forms an adsorption zone 402, a washing zone 403, and a regeneration zone 404 from below, and water to be treated which has been decarbonated in the decarbonation tower 3 is subjected to cation exchange treatment to send pure water to a pure water tank 5. |
