PURPOSE:To make a cured portion accurately coincide with a thermotherapeutic portion in a device utilizing an applicator inserted into a living body cavity to implement radiotherapy and thermotherapy by forming an induction passage for inducing a radiation source and a radiation sensor for detecting a position of the radiation source. CONSTITUTION:An inflatable balloon 3 for fixing a therapeutic applicator 1 to a living body is attached to a tip outer periphery of an insertion part 2 of the therapeutic applicator 1 to be inserted into a body cavity, and a delivery/ discharge pipe 4 communicating with the inside of the balloon 3 is formed inside of the insertion part 2. An induction passage 6 for inducing a radiation source 5 from the outside and a pipeline 8 for insertion of a heating probe 7 are formed inside the insertion part 2, and a plurality of temperature sensors 9 each composed of a thermocouple and the like are fitted to an outer surface in the vicinity of a tip part of the insertion part 2. A heating probe 7 comprises a built-in heating microwave antenna 10 and a built-in radiation detecting scintillator 11 being nearly juxtaposed with each other, and the microwave antenna 10 is connected to a microwave oscillator 13 via a cable 12. |
