<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the semiconductor light-emitting element which can restrain light from being reflected between both edges and which can be manufactured easily. CONSTITUTION:The semiconductor light-emitting element is provided with a first stripe-shaped through groove M1 formed on a current-blocking layer, with a second through groove M2 which is wider than the first through groove M1, with a flat part 4a on the first through groove part M1 and with an active layer 4 which contains a hollow part 4b on the second through groove M2. Thereby, since the hollow part 4b in the active layer 4 acts as a bent waveguide, it is possible to restrain light from being reflected. Since the groove M2 is formed so as to be wide, the hollow part 4b can be formed easily.</p> |
