PURPOSE:To automatically print only a part to be updated when a document is updated by selecting documents in order among plural stored documents, comparing those documents, and outputting and printing only different pages and added pages. CONSTITUTION:A document A7 is selected through a keyboard 5 and a document B8 to be compared is selected through the keyboard 5. A page register 9 which indicates the number of pages of the document A7 to be printed is initialized to a head page. Then, it is judged whether or not the page register 9 exceeds the final page of the document A7 to be printed and when not, it is judged whether or not there is a page whose contents match the page, indicated by the page register 9, of the document A7 to be printed in the compared document B8. Consequently, the result is developed at a printing part 4 as data matched with a printing mechanism unless there is the matching page, ana a printing process is performed. When there is the matching page, the page register 9 is updated to a next page. |
