<p>PURPOSE:To travel a tape at a prescribed speed in either of the forward and reverse directions by using one motor, one capstan and one pair of reel spindles. CONSTITUTION:By turning on a switch, the output of the motor 44 is transmitted via a pulley 46, a belt 48, a pulley 42, a gear 40 and a flywheel gear 34 to the capstan 20 to be rotated clockwise at a fixed speed. Moreover, the output is transmitted via a capstan gear 28, a planetary gear 32 to a reel gear 18a to be rotated clockwise, and the tape 12 is fed out of between the capstan 20 and a pinch roller 24. When the reverse direction is selected by an automatic reverse mechanism or a switch operation upon completion of drawing the tape, the gear 40 on a forward/reverse changeover lever 38 is separated from the flywheel gear 34 and meshed with a gear 36, while the gear 32 is separated from the gear 18a and meshed with a gear 18b. The gear 40, a flywheel 22 and the capstan 20 are reversely rotated counterclockwise via the gear 36 at a prescribed constant speed.</p> |
