<p>PURPOSE: To find foreign matter in a hard-to-access zone and collect the material by applying the constitution that a video camera forms the image of a scene visible from the far end of a movable member via signal transmission through a video cable. CONSTITUTION: A pair of multi-prong reclaimers 22 are extended from the operation channel of the nozzle block 20 of a movable lance 12, and a small video survey camera is provided in a block 20 between the reclaimers 22. The reclaimers 22 are respectively connected to operation cables 26 extending to a manual controller via the lance 12. Then, after the block end 20 of the lance 12 is secured to the tubes 40 of a steam generator, the cable 26 of one of the reclaimers 22 is extended from the block end 20, thereby causing the reclaimers 22 to hold a welding rod 38. Thereafter, the cable 26 is rotated in an indicated direction 42 and the welding rod 38 is thereby erected. Then, the other cable 26 is extended for enabling the other reclaimer 22 to hold the welding rod 38, and the lance 12 is pulled out from a tube bundle 40, thereby removing the welding rod 38.</p> |
