PURPOSE:To maintain desired service quality and to dynamically correct the inequality of the loss probability between priority classes by the use of regarding an ATM multiplexing control system performing a UPC and a priority control. CONSTITUTION:In an ATM multiplexing control system which is provided with a multiplexing processing part 1 having a buffer memory 2 and a control processing part 3, corresponds to a priority class and performs the multiplexing processing of a cell by a UPC, the distribution of the number of arrival and the distribution of arrival ratio to be an upper bound and a lower bound for each priority class on a transmission line at the time of multiplexing are determined by using the declaration parameter by the peak rate and the average rate at the time of receiving a call, the service quality for the connection request of the call is calculated based on these distribution of the number of arrival and the distribution of arrival ratio, and the propriety of the acceptance of the connection request is decided. Call loss ratio is periodically measured, and the change of a buffer length or a threshold is performed so that the loss probability between priority classes may not largely differ. |
