PURPOSE: To provide the system and method which discriminate the existence of nonstandard data placed on the outside of preliminarily defined fields on a document format. CONSTITUTION: A flag is set to nonstandard data for manual check or automatic character recognition by a data image separation stage, the stage where first, second, and third extracted data images are formed, a compressed image file forming stage, a stage where the file size is compared with a prescribed value, and a stage where a nonstandard data signal is generated. |
