TERMINAL BLOCK FOR PRINTED BOARD

PURPOSE:To enable a connection to be mounted on a printed board by enhancing the strength of the connection against external forces. CONSTITUTION:A terminal block has a body 1 open on one side and enclosing a quick-connection terminal portion which comprises a terminal board 3 and a locking spring 4 which is brought into contact with the terminal board 3 as it locks the core of a wire inserted. The terminal block also has a cover 2 secured to the body 1 to cover the opening of the body 1. A wire slot 8 and a slot for a jig for an unlocking button operation are opened in the respective portions of the outer side of the body 1. A terminal piece 6, formed integrally with the terminal board 3 and inserted into and connected to a hole in a printed board by soldering, is projected out of the cover 2. A tapped hole 21 in which to engage an attaching screw for holding the printed board is provided in the cover 2.
