<p>PURPOSE:To obtain such a toner having excellent impact resistance and stability with time that its durability against impact from a charging member such as a carrier in a developing machine is improved, a binder resin of low mol.wt. which can not be conventionally used can be used, and low temp. fixing is possible. CONSTITUTION:This toner is a nonmagnetic one-component toner used for a developing device equipped with a developing roll and a blade to control the thickness of a toner layer formed on the developing roll and to give charges. The toner consists of a binder resin, coloring agent and reinforcing agent. The reinforcing agent consists of resin particles obtd. by coating core layers comprising acrylate copolymer and/or methacrylate copolymer having <=0 deg.C glass transition temp. with a vinyl polymer having >=50 deg.C glass transition temp. The image forming method uses this toner.</p> |
