PURPOSE:To facilitate an estimating processing for a fading distortion quantity by assgning pilot symbol to the starting and ending symbols of a slot without fail, and inserting proper pilot symbols into between the starting and ending symbols of data symbols. CONSTITUTION:A slot 2 consists of a synchronous symbol, pilot symbols, and data symbols. The synchronous symbol is arranged at the head of the slot so as to determine the position of the start symbol of the slot 2. The pilot symbols are inserted into the slot as a reference signal for estimating the fading distortion quantity of the data symbols at the final symbol position of the slot 2 an every (n) data symbols from the head of the slot 2. At this time, the fading distortion quantity regarding the data symbols in the slot is estimated by interpolation on the basis of fading distortion quantity measured values of the pilot symbols before and after the data symbols. Therefore, the estimating processing for the fading distortion quantity is facilitated. |
