PURPOSE:To efficiently generate a picture file having target picture quality by restoring and recognizing the file which is temporarily generated based on stored picture data before the picture file of a prescribed system is generated. CONSTITUTION:A screen synthesis device 11 synthesizes a first screen and a second screen, and displays it on a display device. The video of the first screen is fetched into a data buffer 13 via a decoder 12 as picture data, and the picture data is transferred to an internal storage device. The picture file where data defining the file system and color palette information of a picture element are eliminated and information on the constitution of picture data is reduced compared to the temporary picture file having the data quantity of a necessary minimum, namely, the picture file of the prescribed system is generated based on picture data. The picture file is restored again into picture data, and an encoder/multiplexer 14 synthesizes picture data with the first screen and displays it on the display device. |
