SIGNAL DETECTION DEVICE

PURPOSE:To provide a signal detection device which is improved in the detection rate of a signal to be detected and lowered in the misdetection rate of noise. CONSTITUTION:A frequency analysis part 12 performs a frequency analysis of a sound signal which is covered by a microphone 11 into an electric signal. A peak detection part 13 detects the maximum point of the amplitude from the result of the frequency analysis. A peak tracking part 14 tracks the detected maximum point in the time direction to form a line. A line branch decision part 15 decides the continuation direction of a real line when the line has a branch. A line discrimination part 16 discriminates whether the real line is the signal to be detected or noise by using a time threshold value and an energy threshold value.
