The apparatus includes an input telephone line (L1,L2) to the telephone receiver which has a call detection circuit (3) placed across the line. The detection circuit is controlled by an activation assembly (10). When a call is detected, a first transistor is activated (11). An impedance of chosen value is connected in series with the circuit to connect the receiver to the line. At the same time, a second transistor (16) is activated to control the energy fed to the receiver. The receive circuit operates without the handset being removed. |
