Disclosed are compositions and methods for inhibiting polymerization of ethylenically unsaturated monomers. The compositions comprise a methoxyphenol and a phenylenediamine compound. The methods comprise adding from about 1 to about 10,000 parts per million to the ethylenically unsaturated monomer during processing.
