<p>A radio frequency control system (10, 110) is provided which is particularly adapted for use in connection with an automotive vehicle. The system includes code generating means (12, 145) and a radio frequency transmitter (12, 142) operatively associated with the code generating means. A first antenna (16) is provided which is connected to the transmitter, and a radio frequency receiver (26, 126) is provided which is connected to a second antenna (20). Decoding means (28, 126) is connected to the receiver and includes at least one output (29) adapted to control a safety unit. At least one of the antennas is incorporated in a rearview mirror (22) installed on a vehicle.</p> |
