Programmable cylinder lock and key system

The security lock system is provided with a number of keys which enable the various parameters affecting operation to be programmed, as required, by the user. The operating conditions of the system may be initially set from the manufactured state to provide a unique set of parameters, so that only one key can effect operation. The conditions are retained in an electronic memory. In the event of a lost key, the conditions may be reset to operate with another programmable key.
