PURPOSE:To display a video image of the digital system videotex onto all picture tubes at a high speed by storing a video memory data in a video device as it is and transferring the stored display data to a memory in the video device directly when the data is displayed. CONSTITUTION:A videotex picture is fetched from a CAPTAIN center 1 through a videotex line 2 from a CAPTAIN terminal main body 3 and a decoded picture data is stored in a video memory section 6 for the display. The data expanded in the video memory section 6 is sent to a videotex picture management section 6 through a common memory section 5 and saved on a disk 8. The videotex picture to be displayed is read from the disk 8 and fed to the common memory section 5. When the data expanded from the CAPTAIN main body 3 to the common memory section 5 is transferred to the video memory section 6, the data is outputted to a frame memory section 9 as it is as an analog data and displayed on a monitor 10. Thus, the video image of the videotex picture fetched from an information center is displayed in a short time. |
