<p>PURPOSE:To form a highly precise decoration and an information design of a wide range by a method wherein a control means is connected to a laser means jointly placed to a tire, and a specific part of the tire is removed by melting with its laser beams. CONSTITUTION:Ablation of a workpiece 44 in a tire 42 is carried out by a laser system 46, which is provided to a pair of orthogonal tracks 48 jointly placed to the tire 42. A lens 50 of the laser 46 focuses beams accurately to remove a specific part of the workpiece by melting. A microprocessor 52 is provided as a control system to an ablation system 40. A display 54 and a keyboard 56 are annexed thereto. In order to provide an advance, side by side, of the laser 46 and projection of laser beams in two systems of coordinates, the orthogonal tracks 48 are interconnected to each other. Then, all of the ablation system such as dwell time of the laser beams, power, the number of paths on the specific part of the workpiece, etc., are controlled.</p> |
