<p>PURPOSE:To produce a shape steel for steel-made continuous wall having asymmetrical round joints at the right and the left sides at a low cost. CONSTITUTION:The producing process is composed of a rougher rolling process for rolling a slab to a perform with a break-down mill BD, an intermediate rolling process for forming a perform to almost a wide frange shape steel having asymmetrical shape at the right and left sides with universal mills U1, U2 and edgers E1, E2 as the same way as the production of the wide flange shape steel, a round bending process for bending the flange parts as arc state with a finishing mill F and further, a finish forming process for forming the flange parts to the round joints as the product shape. In the intermediate rolling process, the flanges having thicker side are cooled and the temp. difference between both side flanges satisfies the following formula Tf1-Tf2 <=DELTAT, Wherein, Tf1: temp. of the joint part in the small diameter side at the time of completing the forming process, Tf2: temp. of the joint part in the large diameter side at the time of completing the forming process, DELTAT: limit temp. difference decided by the size of the shape steel, such as web thickness, flange thickness.</p> |
