PURPOSE:To provide an acceleration detecting device to detect the degree of acceleration only by a single speed sensor. CONSTITUTION:Formation of a motorcycle is such that a gear reduction mechanism 13 comprises a gear 23 fixed to a rear axle 11; and gears 19, 20, and 22 fixed on a transmission shaft through which the power of an engine 9 is inputted and the power of the engine 9 is transmitted to a rear wheel 10 through the gear reduction mechanism 13. A speed sensor is located in the vicinity of the gears 19, 20, and 22 fixed on the transmission shaft or a rotary body and operated to detect the rotation speeds of the gears or the rotation speed of the rotary body. |
