PURPOSE:To provide a map matching method in which a road on which a moving body is running at present, can be decided in a short processing time in a navigation system or the like. CONSTITUTION:Distance 10 between the present position of a moving body and a road and difference 11 between an advance direction and a road direction are input. A fuzzy inference operation is executed by a fuzzy inference part 12 for every road. Thereby, a road on which the moving body is running at present, is decided. Consequently, a map matching operation in which an error is small, can be realized in a very short processing time. |
