OPTICAL BRANCHING AND MULTIPLEXING MODULE AND CASING

摘要

PURPOSE:To provide an optical, branching module and optical multiplexing module which are low and stable in dependency on polarization and dependency on wavelength and are small in insertion loss of signal light and a casing thereof. CONSTITUTION:A multiplexer 2 is disposed on the ray of the signal light made incident on the inside of the casing from a first collimator 1, an optical isolator 3 on the ray passing the multiplexer and a beam splitter 4 on the output side of the optical isolator, respectively on a straight line. A second collimator 5 is arranged on the ray passing the beam splitter 4. On the other hand, a reflection mirror 7 is arranged on the ray of the exciting light made incident on the inside of the casing from a third collimator 6, the multiplexer 2 on the ray reflecting at this reflection mirror and the first collimator 1 on the ray reflecting at the multiplexer. The angle at which the exciting light is made incident on the multiplexer 2 is within 22.5 deg..
